Rounds 4 & 5 of the Pirelli GT4 America Championship delivered an intense and promising weekend for VPX Motorsport, as drivers Alex Ellis and Danny Dyszelski showcased grit, skill, and rising momentum at the historic Sebring International Raceway.
Race 1 – Fighting Through the Field
Following productive mid-week testing, both drivers qualified well on Saturday, placing the team in a strong position for Race 1. However, early contact on the opening lap set the team back, forcing them to push hard to regain lost ground. Despite the setback, Alex and Danny delivered a strong comeback drive, finishing P5 in the Silver (Pro) Class and P9 overall.
Race 2 – A Battle for Position
Race 2 brought even more anticipation. Starting 8th overall, Alex Ellis maintained strong pace throughout the first half and the crew executed a flawless pitstop. Danny Dyszelski jumped in for the second stint and charged forward, ultimately finishing P4 in class and P5 overall—a solid result that reflects the team’s growing strength.
“We had a very good car but still had to be careful of the heat and the bumps this weekend. I am really proud of the progress that was made,” said Vince Partap, VPX Motorsport Owner & CEO.
