As a late-season entry in 2024, VPX Motorsport were quick to make their mark on the Pirelli GT4 America field. Competing in the Silver class for the last four races of the year in Barber Motorsports Park and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, they immediately began challenging the frontrunners.
They are coming equipped with the same willpower for their 2025 campaign, rejoining the GT4 America grid in the Silver class with a full season Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport entry. Last year, they earned a fifth-place finish in their debut race in the series, followed by a further three consecutive fourth-place results. This time around, their objective is to step foot on the podium.
Team Owner and Team Principal Vince Partap is greatly looking forward to the challenge and stated that their driver lineup for the upcoming campaign will be announced in the near future.
“As a small team from Canada, entering the last two events of the 2024 season was a daunting exercise,” he explained. “However, the people at SRO made our transition into the series much easier.”
He went on to add that “the level of competition we witnessed was exceptional and helped us define our expectations moving forward as we prepare for our return. We are thrilled to be competing for the full year in 2025 with our two young drivers and a more seasoned team. I feel that the high quality of racing in SRO Pirelli GT4 America is exactly what will push us to achieve more as a team. The support we have received from the organization as a whole gives me confidence to continue competing here in the future.”
